Rocky Valley can be used in a number of ways:•A camp for up to 140 campers (Use the whole campsite) •A camp for up to 60 Campers (Use part of the campsite) •A Small Group Retreat (Use part of the campsite) When only part of the site is used, the campsite is divided into North and South and two groups can use the site at once with only the pool and playing areas being shared.Facilities:•10 Rondavels sleeping 10 people each. (3 triple bunks and one divan each with mattress and clean base sheets provided)•2 Log cabins sleeping 10 people each. (Can be used as meeting places) •2 Halls with kitchens each seating up to 120 people. Each has an area for campers to clean their dishes. Each kitchen has gas-rings, an oven, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, and basic utensils. •2 ablution blocks with hot and cold water and showers •2 leader cottages with 3 double bedrooms, full bathroom, lounge and kitchenette •Swimming pool with very shallow end on one side. Safely fenced. •Games Fields for Volleyball, soccer, netball etc. •A braai area with wood for sale. •Walks: These range from short and easy to longer and more up and down!What to bring: Each camper must bring: •Eating utensils: Fork, knife, spoon, plate, bowl, mug, dishcloth and bag •Bedding: Pillow and Sleeping Bag or Sheets and Blankets •Other: Towel, Clothes, Shoes, Torch, Toiletries The organisers must bring: •First Aid Kit: Rocky Valley does not keep one. •Washing: If self-catering, bring Dishwashing liquid, dishcloths, etc. •Sport Equipment: Bats, Balls, Frisbees, etc.
